The Shark AV2501AE delivers strong automated cleaning and pet hair pickup, but owners frequently battle frustrating app connectivity and navigation hiccups.
Get this if you want reliable automated pet hair cleanup and do not mind occasionally troubleshooting stubborn Wi-Fi disconnections.
Owners consistently praise the Shark AV2501AE for its robust core cleaning performance, noting that the self-emptying base significantly reduces manual labor and handles pet hair effectively across various surfaces. The HEPA filtration system also earns high marks for capturing allergens and maintaining a cleaner home environment.
However, the ownership experience is often marred by software and hardware reliability issues. Owners frequently report buggy app performance, stubborn Wi-Fi disconnection problems, and a tendency for the robot to get stuck in tight spaces or struggle with thresholds. Maintenance complaints include long hair wrapping around the brushroll despite its self-cleaning billing, and the physical build quality of internal components like the dustbin hinge feels flimsy to many users over time.

After 6–12 Months
After months of daily use, owners frequently note that while the cleaning motor and base continue to perform well, software stability degrades and internal mechanical parts require careful maintenance to prevent jams and error codes.
